Mike Zimmerebner
Mike’s career in the aviation industry was sparked as a Maintenance Technician with a USMC F-18 Squadron. As a combat veteran, he demonstrated personal integrity, dependability, and adaptability, traits that would later prove invaluable in his professional pursuits.
His career path led him to the private aviation sector, where he served as a Maintenance Technician at Hawker Beechcraft and Dassault Falcon in Little Rock; later moving to Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah. After nearly a decade at Gulfstream as a Project Manager, Mike honed his skills overseeing scheduled maintenance, refurbishments, and pre-purchase inspections.
In 2017, Mike founded Beacon Aircraft Technical Services with the mission to provide unparalleled technical guidance across the aviation industry. Today, he continues his commitment to service excellence from his home base in North Dallas.
Daniel Hoey
After earning his degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Dan launched an impressive career in the aviation industry at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah. Over nearly 18 years, he amassed extensive experience in maintenance, refurbishments, and upgrades. As he advanced from technician to project manager, Dan developed essential skills in project management, budget control, adherence to schedules, and customer communication.
Still residing in Savannah, Dan now applies these valuable competencies as our Director of Technical Services. His dedication and wealth of experience continue to drive the high-quality services provided by our team at Beacon Aircraft Technical Services.
Billie Walbert
Billie Walbert serves as Project Support Lead at Beacon Aircraft Technical Services, supporting project execution through organization, communication, and coordination across active engagements. She partners closely with internal team members, vendors, and clients to help ensure projects progress smoothly.
With a strong focus on detail and responsiveness, Billie plays an integral role in managing documentation, coordinating logistics, and maintaining alignment across multiple stakeholders. She thrives in fast-paced environments where organization and follow-through are essential.
Based in Indiana, Billie holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has a longstanding appreciation for general aviation, influenced by her family and personal experiences in the industry. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, staying active, and making the most of family time.
Mike Barbour
Mike is a dedicated aerospace professional with over 19 years of experience, including a distinguished five-year service as a U.S. Marine Corps Aircraft Electrician on F/A-18 jets. Leveraging his expertise in aviation systems, he earned his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Indianapolis.
Mike built a successful 14-year career at Gulfstream Aerospace, advancing from technician to lead roles and ultimately to Project Manager. In this capacity, he excelled in managing customer communications, overseeing teams of technicians, and ensuring project financial compliance. Known for his strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence, Mike thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality results in the aerospace industry.
Based in Savannah, Mike is eager to contribute his extensive experience and technical knowledge to drive successful project outcomes.
Mike Capodieci
Mike began his aviation career in the United States Air Force, where he served as an A-10 Warthog Avionics Specialist. During his time in the military, he developed a strong foundation in technical precision, discipline, and problem-solving—skills that would carry forward throughout his career.
Following his military service, Mike transitioned into business aviation, joining Gulfstream Aerospace. Over the course of 11 years, he built extensive experience supporting both mid-cabin and large-cabin aircraft, specializing in avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and cabin systems including in-flight entertainment.
His career later led him to Collins Aerospace / ARINCDirect, where he provided global support for aircraft subscription services across a wide range of platforms, further expanding his technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Now part of the Beacon Aircraft team, Mike brings a well-rounded background in avionics, strong technical insight, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to clients across every stage of the aircraft lifecycle.
