Mike Zimmerebner

Mike’s career in the aviation industry was sparked as a Maintenance Technician with a USMC F-18 Squadron. As a combat veteran, he demonstrated personal integrity, dependability, and adaptability, traits that would later prove invaluable in his professional pursuits.
His career path led him to the private aviation sector, where he served as a Maintenance Technician at Hawker Beechcraft and Dassault Falcon in Little Rock; later moving to Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah. After nearly a decade at Gulfstream as a Project Manager, Mike honed his skills overseeing scheduled maintenance, refurbishments, and pre-purchase inspections.

In 2017, Mike founded Beacon Aircraft Technical Services with the mission to provide unparalleled technical guidance across the aviation industry. Today, he continues his commitment to service excellence from his home base in North Dallas.

Daniel Hoey

After earning his degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Dan launched an impressive career in the aviation industry at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah. Over nearly 18 years, he amassed extensive experience in maintenance, refurbishments, and upgrades. As he advanced from technician to project manager, Dan developed essential skills in project management, budget control, adherence to schedules, and customer communication.

Still residing in Savannah, Dan now applies these valuable competencies as our Director of Technical Services. His dedication and wealth of experience continue to drive the high-quality services provided by our team at Beacon Aircraft Technical Services.

Billie Walbert

Billie Walbert is dedicated to handling back-office tasks with precision and efficiency. She thrives in high-pressure environments, ensuring deadlines are met while delivering exceptional customer service. Billie resides in Indiana, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She is passionate about general aviation, seamlessly aligning her career goals with her love for the aviation community. Billie is married and has two daughters, and they often share in her enthusiasm for aviation.

Mike Barbour

Mike is a dedicated aerospace professional with over 19 years of experience, including a distinguished five-year service as a U.S. Marine Corps Aircraft Electrician on F/A-18 jets. Leveraging his expertise in aviation systems, he earned his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Indianapolis. Mike built a successful 14-year career at Gulfstream Aerospace, advancing from technician to lead roles and ultimately to Project Manager. In this capacity, he excelled in managing customer communications, overseeing teams of technicians, and ensuring project financial compliance. Known for his strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence, Mike thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality results in the aerospace industry. Based in Savannah, Mike is eager to contribute his extensive experience and technical knowledge to drive successful project outcomes.
